Dr. Elena Zimina
.

Elena won the award in the Post-Doc and Research Associates Category at Research Day, which was held last month on February 12, 2013. She is a member of the Hinz lab, Laboratory of Tissue Repair and Regeneration, Matrix Dynamics Group.


RESEARCH DAY TRAVEL AWARD WINNERS

Nastaran Abbarin and Nilesh Talele of the Matrix Dynamics Group were the top two presenters amongst all the abstracts submitted for the Faculty of Dentistry Research Day, February 12, 2013. They were invited for 15 minute oral presentation on research day podium and were awarded a $750 CAD travel award by the Student Research Group, Faculty of Dentistry. Congratulations!

The International Association for Dental Research (IADR) is pleased to provide an IADR/GSK Innovation in Oral Care Award to Dr. Bernhard Ganss, Matrix Dynamics Group, Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto.

The grant cycle award is for a 2 year period and will be used in support of his research proposal entitled, "Novel Peptide Mimetics to Reinforce Dental Gingival Attachment."
